Jean is a partner in our KSA Office, based in Riyadh.
He has twelve years’ experience working in the Middle East, with ten years spent in Saudi Arabia. Jean specialises in corporate and commercial law (including foreign investment), telecom and technology-related laws and securities and insurance, as well as capital markets. His expertise covers joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings, insurance-related transactions, and corporate restructurings.
Jean has in-depth knowledge of local laws and practices. He has advised a large number of multinationals, US, European, and East Asian clients in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East on a broad range of matters, including in relation to project development, commercial contracts, company setups, franchising, as well as matters of general company law and corporate governance and in major litigation.
Jean has also worked with a number of funds, private equity and investment firms, venture capital companies, and start-ups in providing services related to acquisition, financing, and strategic transactions.
Jean holds an LL.B. from La Sagesse University (Beirut, Lebanon) and a BA in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University (Beirut, Lebanon) and is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
