Musab is an Associate in the banking and finance team of the firm and based in our DIFC office in Dubai.
Musab has over six years of experience in Pakistan, Oman and Qatar.
Musab's experience includes working on big-ticket domestic and cross-border transactions with financial institutions and government and semi-government entities. His notable transactional work includes structuring, negotiating and advising on asset, structured and project financing (under both conventional and Islamic modes of financing), handling complex debt restructuring, and working on acquisition financing, involving multiple stakeholders.
Before joining BSA, Musab worked in the Qatar office of the largest Middle Eastern law firm where he primarily advised local and foreign clients on financial regulatory matters, debt restructuring and lending transactions. In Oman, he worked at one of the oldest law firms of the country and advised on a range of issues as diverse as banking, corporate and M&A, and real estate. He has also worked at a top-tier law firm in Pakistan where he was involved in transactional and advisory work in relation to banking, corporate and M&A, JVs, capital markets, and investments and divestments. He has also been seconded in past to the Qatar office of a global bank.
Musab holds a BA (Hons) in Law from the London School of Economics and LLM in Financial Regulation and Compliance from BPP University Law School, London.
