Rita is an associate within our corporate and commercial practice, based in DIFC.
Rita regularly provides a wide range of clients with legal assistance on matters relating to commercial disputes, real estate transactions and employment. Rita also advises on corporate transactions, bankruptcy cases, restructuring strategies as well as drafting and reviewing various types of agreements.
Prior to joining BSA, Rita practiced law with a regional Lebanese law firm. Rita’s main area of practice during this time was international commercial disputes. Rita has acted as counsel in many complex commercial disputes conducted before various arbitration centers such as the International Chamber of Commerce, Singapore International Arbitration Center, DIFC-LCIA and Dubai International Arbitration Center.
Rita graduated law school from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik with a dual degree in French and Lebanese law and completed an exchange program at University of Poitiers in France consisting of intensive courses in international commerce and contracts law.
She is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
