BSA has successfully advised Delivery Hero, the largest food delivery platform in the world, on the acquisition of InstaShop

The acquisition has been valued at USD 360 Million with operations in the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, and Lebanon. This is Delivery Hero’s first acquisition in the region’s e-grocery industry. InstaShop will continue to work as an independent brand with plans to launch in new markets and invest further ingrowth.

BSA’s TMT and M&A practice groups advised on all aspects of the transaction. The team was led by Senior Associate,Nadim Bardawilwith support from Rima Mrad, Tala Azar, and Simon Isgar. Arsalan Tariq physically moves to BSA’s Muscat office as a Partner and Head of the Corporate Department

BSA has recently made a partner-level personnel move for its Muscat office. Arsalan Tariq was hired two years ago by BSA’s, DIFC office and promoted to Partner at BSA’s Muscat office in January 2020.
