Following the enactment of the new UAE Bankruptcy Law, BSA legal practitioners, alongside financial experts from Ankura teamed up for a compelling panel discussion. Held on 21st May, at the offices of BSA Law the event provided a comprehensive overview of the recent amendments in the UAE Bankruptcy Law, shedding light on its implications for businesses and investors alike.

The panel, comprising lawyers Rima Mrad and Nadia El Tannir from BSA Law and financial experts Rani Bou Hamdan and Bruno Navarro from Ankura, delved into the nuances of the legislative reforms and their impact on corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings, and debt recovery mechanisms within the UAE jurisdiction. During the discussion, the panellists also covered the bankruptcy laws in KSA, looking into the key differences in the laws in KSA compared to the UAE.
